As my engagement with philosophy deepened, it gradually moved beyond its traditional academic framework and became a way of thinking that permeates everyday life.
Life is inherently complex. Through experience, philosophical counseling has become for me a way of attending more closely to ourselves and to the world we inhabit.
I offer this space to those who are open to thinking together about questions that arise in moments of uncertainty, anxiety, or confusion — as well as those that belong to joy, fulfilment, and success.
Philosophical counseling is a form of philosophical practice that takes place in a one-to-one conversation.
In this space, attention is given fully to the client’s way of thinking and to the way the world becomes meaningful for them.
Those who come to philosophical counseling are often drawn to self-knowledge — to the shaping and living of a personal worldview that feels both examined and lived.
A two-hour session opens a space for a particular question, situation, or experience to be explored in depth.
Nothing is solved in advance. Nothing is imposed.
Instead, thought is allowed to unfold — carefully, attentively, in dialogue.
Philosophical counseling is neither medical nor psychotherapeutic.
It does not diagnose or treat.
It does not correct or classify.
Its purpose is to support greater clarity, a more attentive relation to one’s own questions, and a deeper engagement with how life is understood and lived.
Philosophical reflection often begins alone — through reading, listening, or inner questioning.
Philosophical counseling and the Philosophical Café offer two complementary ways in which thinking can become shared.
These two forms naturally speak to one another.
Those who take part in individual counseling often find that their thinking continues to unfold in the collective space of the Philosophical Café.
Together, these practices create spaces where thinking becomes more attentive, more open, and more alive.
Participants in the Philosophical Café often describe how thinking together subtly changes the way they see others — and themselves.
What once felt fixed begins to loosen.
What seemed certain becomes open again.
And through this, thinking itself begins to take flight.
